Info for Speakers
Welcome to the Engineering Works, Nordic Welding and 3D Expo fair at the Tampere Exhibition and Sports Centre on 17–19 March 2026!
Below you can find information that we hope you will be familiar with in advance. Please pass this information on to all speakers and performers participating in the program. We kindly ask you to check our website for the program time and location of your presentation.
SPEAKER PROFILE
A speaker profile has been created for all speakers and performers in in our event management system. Login credentials have been sent by email. We kindly ask you to log in and complete your your profile. The information must be filled out in both English and Finnish (you can change the language at the top right of the page). Speaker details will appear on the event website under the Speakers tab. You will also find instructions and additional information for speakers within the profile.
Networking and matcmaking features conserning speakers are limited if they participate in the event solely as speakers. If a speaker also has a role as an exhibitor or visitor, they are, as a general rule, assigned broader networking and matcmaking options. In this case, contact buttons will be visible in the speaker’s public profile, and any previously entered profile information will remain intact. If you would like your networking settings to be adjusted, please contact asiakaspalvelu@tampereenmessut.fi.
ACCESS TO THE FAIR
Speakers and performers have been registered for the event by the organizer as part of creating the speaker profile. A QR code granting access to the event will be sent by email a few days before the fair. An access pass bearing the performer’s name will be printed at the entrance upon presenting the QR code. To make your participation smoother, we also recommend downloading the event app.
Parking and cloakroom services are free of charge for performers. Complimentary cloakroom service can be redeemed by showing your performer pass. More detailed parking instructions can be found below.
PARKING AND ARRIVAL INSTRUCTIONS
Parking is free of charge for performers. The vehicle’s license plate number must be submitted in advance via the speaker profile no later than Monday, 16 March 2026 at 14:00. If the license plate number has not been submitted by the given deadline, it must be provided to the event information desk immediately upon arrival at the venue (a delay may result in a parking penalty). Alternatively, parking can be paid on-site using the most common mobile payment applications.
There is no separate parking area reserved for performers; vehicles may be parked in any available parking area on the premises. Please note: Parking spaces at the Tampere Sports & Expo are limited, and we cannot guarantee availability. Submitting your license plate number does not constitute a parking reservation. We recommend using hotel and railway station shuttle services or public transport whenever possible.
The fair area map shows the exhibition halls, entrances, and the locations of program areas. The map will be published on the event website and in the event app prior to the event.
PROGRAM AREAS AND TECHNICAL INFORMATION
Below you will find information regarding presentations and the technical setup of the program stage.
If you wish to show presentation materials during your session, we kindly ask you to submit fully compiled, presentation-ready file in advance, no later than Tuesday, 10 March 2026. If sending the material beforehand is not possible, the presentation must be delivered on a USB drive on-site well before the start of your session. Presentations should not be shown via cloud services. If your presentation includes video or audio content, submitting it in advance is especially recommended so we can ensure compatibility and smooth delivery. Tampereen Messut Ltd is responsible for Teosto fees related to background music played on the program stages.
The program stages and areas are in continuous use, so we kindly ask you to keep your presentation within the agreed schedule.
A technician and a program assistant will be present at each program stage to welcome performers and assist with technical matters. We ask performers to arrive at the technical area next to the stage no later than 10 minutes before the start of their session.
If you have any special requests regarding your performance, please contact our program producer as soon as possible. Please note: During the event week and throughout the event, please contact us by phone.
PROGRAM STAGE, MAIN LOBBY
The stage program will be hosted by Esa Heritty. Esa will introduce each performer and, if desired, ask a few questions. If you would like him to ask you a few questions at the beginning or end of your session, or participate in your segment in any way (e.g., interview or moderating), please send your prepared questions and instructions by Tuesday, 10 March 2026 to esa@heritty.fi.
